Turkey Burger with Ancient Grains (24 qty.)

Ingredients:

Yield: 24 burgers (4 oz.)

  • 3 c. InHarvest Greenwheat Freekeh™, prepared, chilled
  • 3 c. InHarvest Wild Rice (Grade A or A/B), prepared, chilled
  • 2 c. InHarvest Red Quinoa, prepared, chilled
  • 2 T. vegetable oil
  • ¾ c. carrot, minced
  • ¾ c. celery, minced
  • ¾ c. onion, minced
  • 2 T. garlic, fresh minced
  • 4 t. salt
  • 1½ t. black pepper
  • 2½ T. cumin, ground
  • 4 lbs. ground turkey

Directions:

  1. Sauté vegetables in oil for 2 minutes, stir in garlic, salt, pepper and cumin. Sauté for additional minute while stirring. Chill.
  2. Combine cooked and chilled InHarvest grains and veggies with ground turkey and mix well.
  3. Form 4 oz. patties, grill or fry on medium heat until cooked through.
