WHAT: Chef Jay Z will demonstrate the customer-pleasing power of intact whole grains—grains in which the germ, endosperm and bran remain unseparated during processing—in vegetarian and vegan concept development for C&U foodservice. Dishes for demo and tasting include Vegan Black Forest Blend™ Bolognese capitalizing on consumer interest in pulses. Thursday tastings will include several varieties from InHarvest’s new Fruit & Grain Shakes Series; Friday tastings will feature parfaits layering fresh fruit and yogurt with InHarvest’s puffed brown and wild rices and Sunrise Blend with Quinoa Flakes®.
